Join us! Nature for Water Security Dialogue

There is no replacement or alternative to fresh water. Healthy natural ecosystems underpin the global water cycle that provides fresh water for all life and sustainable development. Join us to discuss how to collectively improve global water security for all by supporting systemic shifts in how water is valued, financed and managed by governments and communities.

During the session, you will learn:

  • Why healthy -and intact- ecosystems are essential for global water security
  • The role of water as essential for resilience, peace and security
  • The potential of nature-based solutions for water and associated co-benefits.
  • Why water cycles are global common goods and what we must do to put them back on a sustainable trajectory.
  • How investing in nature for water can be a catalyst for peace

Questions? If you have specific questions you would like us to address in the live session, please post them below or on our Viva Engage Group. We would love to hear from you!
